Expensing CCA Program Fees

Send an email to your manager

CCA is part online course, part community, part social support group.

Our paid membership is designed to be covered by your company. It’s less expensive than attending one conference each year, you’ll learn more and you’ll meet more people, and it lasts all year round.

We’ve drafted an example email that you might send to your manager or HR rep.

Take a look below, and edit it to make it your own.

Hello <Their name>,

I believe that future skills training is a huge part of personal and professional growth. Especially now with many of us working remote, these skills matter more than ever!

I’ve found a professional development program called Flourishing While Working Remote. They cover remote working skills related to communication, culture and leadership. It includes:

  • Access to tons of short, actionable lessons in these topics
  • An active community of other learners
  • Lots of updates and ongoing revisions—we can even have influence on the program material they create if there’s a particular future skills area we think is important

It’s $350/year right now and I think it will be well worth it. Especially since there are no conferences happening right now. Can I put this on the company card? I’ll be sure to update you in a few months to let you know what I’m learning and whether it’s worth it.

Thank you,
